A few bits of advice for a great semester:

  • It's time to file your 2014-2015 FAFSA. Visit fafsa.ed.gov to get started on your FAFSA once you (and your parents, if applicable) have filed your 2013 taxes (you can also begin your FAFSA with estimated amounts if you have not yet filed your taxes).
  • What are your plans after leaving TC3? It's never too early to work on your long-term plans. The staff in the office of Counseling, Career, and Transfer Services can help you with career planning, transfer planning, resume development, and more. Stop by room 216 to set up an appointment.
  • How are classes going? Review your course outlines carefully. Ask yourself: How am I graded in this class? When are major projects/tests/assignments scheduled? What are the instructor’s expectations of me in this class? Ask questions if something is unclear.
  • Make sure that you are in the habit of checking your myMAIL inbox every day. If you have classes in Angel, also check your Course Mail daily.
  • The best advice we can give is this: go to class; be on time; do the work; ask for help if you need it.
